Creswell-area woman receives minor injuries in I-5 accident

A Creswell-area woman received minor injuries Friday morning after losing control of her northbound car and crossed through the center median of Interstate 5 where it rolled into the southbound lanes.

According to Oregon State Police Trooper Casey Codding, on February 29, 2008 at approximately 10:25 a.m. a 2001 Mitsubishi four-door driven by ROXANNE R. FORMBY, age 41, from Creswell, was northbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 187 when it lost control after making a lane change. The Mitsubishi crossed the center median and rolled into the southbound lanes.

FORMBY was using safety restraints and received minor injuries. She was transported by South Lane Fire ambulance to Sacred Heart Hospital.

Traffic was limited to one lane for the majority of the time until the scene was cleared about an hour later.
