Suspicious powder at Oregon State Capitol not hazardous

SALEM, Ore. – A hazardous materials team was called in to check out a suspicious powder found in an office at the Oregon State Capitol on Wednesday afternoon.
After about 45 minutes they determined the powder did not pose a threat..
The office is part of a suite of offices that belongs to Governor John Kitzhaber’s staff. The powder was found Wednesday afternoon.
Police said all employees in the area were told to stay in their offices during the investigation.
Around ten employees were eventually given the all-clear at 5:15 p.m.
State police troopers are investigating where the powder came from.
heres what really happened the powder was snorted found to be weak at best so they called some one to "clean it up"
Actually it may have been medicated powdered for all the chapped cheeks there that sit on their brains about two thirds of the time.
No one in the building was familiar with Clorox Cleanser or what it's purpose is. In an effort to clarify what it was and what it was for, they contacted the Hazmat Team. After finding it to be a "cleaning" agent, they all chuckled and shook their well-to-do collective heads....The janitorial staff will be soundly punished for the disruption. The nerve of those "little people" It may take days for the staff to get back to doing.....nothing.
@flor3nc3 OH.. they are doing something ..it's just not what we elected them to do and we the people need to mow them down and grow a new goverment that does what the people of oregon vote on.
Not what they feel is in our best interest..cuz the GOV. ain't got a clue.
