Crews respond to fire in neighborhood across I-5 from mall

EUGENE, Ore. - Crews responded to a fire on Marquet Way just west of Interstate 5 across from Gateway Mall on Thursday afternoon.

Witness Gary Sherman reported seeing thick, black smoke and smelling plastic and wood burning.

The fire started in an RV next to the home and spread to the house.

No one was injured.
