COOS BAY, Ore. - Federal agents again raided a heavy trucking and parts business in south Coos Bay Thursday afternoon.
Federal agents from the FBI and other Federal investigation agencies were seen at
for most of the day Thursday.
Agents seached through the company's warehouse, opened boxes and searched parcels for most of the afternoon.
Kustom Products and its owners have been indicted on charges they supplied faulty and defective trucking and airplane parts to the U.S. Defense Department as early as 2008. Kustom Products was issued multi-million dollar contracts by the Federal government for those parts.
The Pentagon is pressing charges against the company and family that include conspiracy and fraud.
The family is pleading not guilty to the charges, and they are due in court for trial next January.
No one at the scene was available or willing to comment.
