Dorothy English, face of Oregon's property rights battle, passes away at 95
PORTLAND, Ore. - The public face of Oregon's controversial property rights battle has passed away.
Dorothy English died Thursday. She was 95 years old.
English was one of the most vocal proponents of Measure 37 and filed the first claim under the law when it was approved. She fought Multnomah County to subdivide 22 acres of family land.
