Web site spies on cell phones
Technology allows access to people's personal lives. In some ways, this is a good thing. Crimes can be solved and criminals captured. In other ways, technology is used to spy on innocent people.
World-Tracker.com is a UK company. Registration is easy and once you are online. Users simply type in someone's cell phone number and begin spying. The program so far only works in Great Britain but its a matter of time till we see it here.
The catch to this is the person being spied on must accept the initial text message from World Tracker in order for someone to spy on the location. If you get a message and don't want to be tracked don't respond.
"I thinks its horrible," said Bob Kloos of Eugene. "I think it is a real invasion of privacy and I hope something is done about it."
Not yet available in the states, World Tracker can track phones on Orange, O-2 and Vodovone networks.
