Bill Clinton has campaigned along the southern Oregon Coast (above) and in rural eastern Oregon.
BAKER CITY, Ore. - Former President Bill Clinton praised Harry Truman and called Hillary Clinton "the best change maker I know" who knows the difference between "a speech and a solution, a promise and real progress" in a stump speech on the steps of the Baker County Couthouse.
Clinton toured the town's historic main street and visited businesses, like Beverly Calder's BELLA.
"I turn around to help a new customer at the counter and realize that it's former President Bill Clinton!" Calder wrote on her blog.
The employee on duty "was cool as a cucumber; she shook his hand and very politely said something like 'It's nice to meet you.' " Calder wrote. "Me on the other hand, acted a bit star struck and said something far less clever. I think it was something like 'Can I trade you a cup of coffee for a photo?' "
