EUGENE, Ore. - There are always bikes on the streets of Eugene. But Saturday, there were more than usual. It was the Annual Bike Day at the Science Factory. The event included almost everything you need to know about riding in Track Town. Cyclists also came together for clinics on safety and a chance to share their passion for the paths.

This Bike Day was bitter sweet for some in the cycling community. On Monday, 27-year-old David Minor was killed in a bike accident.

"It's a challenge, I think, to make sense of it to try and figure out what we're doing," said cyclist Paul Adkins.

All the cyclists we talked to told us Minor's death reminds them of the safety measures they need to take every time they get on their bikes and the importance of wearing helmets.
