HARRISBURG, Ore. - A speeding intoxicated driver crashed his car into the rear of a vehicle being towed behind a small SUV on Interstate 5, seriously injuring himself and the other driver, police said.

The driver of the SUV, Nelson Reyes-Flores, 58, of Richmond, Calif., was taken to Albany General Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash happened just after midnight Thursday on Interstate 5 about 4 miles north of Harrisburg.
