200 people go skinny dipping at resort in search of world record

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - About 200 people bared all at the Willamettans Family Nudist Resort on Saturday as part of a nationwide attempt to set a new worold record for the most people skinny dipping at one time.

"It's just a fun thing to do, and people are having a great time - you can hear the laughter," said John Kinman, president of the Willamettans. "The neat thing about it is it brought a lot of new people out to see what we're like, and they aren't scared; they're having a great time."

Kinman said 15,000 people had to take part coast to coast to break the current world record. He said the results would likely be tallied by next month.
