EUGENE, Ore. -- The 32nd annual S.L.U.G. (Society for the Legitimization of the Ubiquitous Gastropod) Queen Coronation Ceremony took place at Ken Kesey Square in Eugene on August 8, 2014.


The Slug Queen is takes on the role of being the unofficial ambassador of the city for the Eugene Celebration festival.


There were four contestants who each had to perform a talent as well as answer a question from one of the former Slug Queens to determine who would be the best Queen.


At the end of the show, the judges deliberated and the 2014 Slug Queen was crowned. After his fourth attempt, this year’s winner was Professor Bulbus Slimebledore (Daniel Borson).
