Graffiti a possible hate crime
By KVAL Web StaffEUGENE, Ore. - Police are investigating hate graffiti sprayed on the home of a Jewish family in northwest Eugene. The residents discovered the anti-Semitic tagging when they went outside to get their paper around 6:22 a.m. Police think the incident happened between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 5:45 a.m. Thursday. The tags included possible implied threats and some sexually graphic content. The tags were on the garage, patio near the front door. There was also some damage to a remote garage door keypad and a garage light. Eugene Police responded to the residence to investigate and detectives are now seeking additional information on this crime.
