Sheriff IDs dead man pulled from river
CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Police identified the body found in the Willamette River last week as that of a 37-year-old Albany man.
Benton County Sheriffs Office recovered a body from the Willamette River on July 16. The sheriff sought the public's help identifying the man.
Fingerprints identified him as Bradley Allen Davis, 37, from the Albany area.
Davis is believed to have drowned. An autopsy was performed and no obvious indications of trauma were observed.
It is unknown how long the body had been in the water. Toxicology results are pending, but it is believed that alcohol may have been a contributing factor, according to the sheriff's office.
