LCC provided education and training for Hynix employees in 1997 as the company prepared to open their new facility. Over the past decade Lane has continued to work closely with Hynix to meet a variety of their education and training needs.
Hynix employees can participate in short-term training in 20 occupational sectors such as accounting, automotive technology, computer programming, emergency medical technician, hospitality and nursing.
New programs in high demand careers including Pharmacy Technician, Physical Therapy Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant 2, and computer networking are among the 40 occupations for which Lane provides education and training.
Often students find it more convenient to access Lane programs through Distance Learning. Over 600 sections of Distance Learning opportunities are available, including courses in the new Retail Management program, Management Fundamentals, Accounting, Budgeting for Managers, Excel for Business—Expert Level, and Applied Financial Accounting.
