FBI offers $1,000 rewards in two unsolved Eugene bank robberies

The FBI is offering two rewards of up to $1,000 each for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two suspects who robbed banks in Eugene in 2007 and 2008.
 
The first robbery occurred on April 16, 2007, at approximately 4:50 p.m. at the Key Bank located at 2995 Hilyard Street. The man walked in, approached a teller, threatened that he had a weapon and a "partner", and demanded cash. In the parking lot, a dye pack exploded, covering him in red ink. He dropped some, but not all, of the cash and fled on foot.
 
 
Witnesses described the robber as:
White man
Age:  30 - 35 years old
Height:  6'2" - 6'3"
Weight:  180-190 pounds
Build:  Slim and fit, like a runner
Hair:  Light brown or sandy blond, short
Complexion:  Acne-scarred
Clothing:  Blue-gray sweatshirt with writing on the front, jeans, white tennis shoes
 
The second robbery happened at a Wells Fargo bank in Eugene on May 28, 2008. The branch is located at 99 E. Broadway. This robbery happened at approximately 4:15 p.m. when the man walked into the bank, stood in line and then approached the teller counter. He stated that he had a gun and demanded cash. This man was last seen on foot, headed north.
 
Witnesses describe this robber as:
 
White man
Age:  Late 50's
Height: 6'0"
Build:  Average
Hair:  Short, gray
Clothing: Royal blue mesh hat, royal blue winter coat and reading glasses
Other:  Walked stiffly
 
Investigators are offering the rewards at this time to encourage the public to provide new, substantive tips. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI in Eugene at (541) 343-5222 during normal business hours or the FBI in Portland at (503) 224-4181 24 hours a day.
