EUGENE, Ore. -- In response to the National Weather Service’s Excessive Heat Advisory, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art will offer free admission Friday, Aug. 15 and Saturday, Aug. 16.

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art will waive all admission fees to provide the community with an air conditioned location to stay cool in.

While enjoying the climate controlled conditions, visitors can view “Faster, Higher, Farther: The Spirit of Track & Field Sports,” “Edward Burtynsky: The China Series,” and “The Thinking Body.” The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
