NEHALEM BAY, Ore. - Head to any state park or otherwise civilized type of campground and you'll most likely see more RVs than you will tents - a sign that a lot of folks are looking for comfort when they head into the outdoors, despite high gas prices.

And the types of rigs that folks take on the road vary greatly - pop-up tent trailers, fifth wheels, conversion vans, campers, trailers, motorhomes - you name it, it's out there.

From old to new, big to small - there are all kinds of rigs to suit all kinds of tastes and personalities.

So what about all you RVers out there - what type of camping rig do you head into the outdoors in?  And why did you choose the type of setup you did - was it price, comfort, size, ease of use?

  • Leave a comment at the bottom of this story to share your thoughts.
  • And if you've got a unique rig, send in a photo.
