EUGENE, Ore. -- To break the ice with classmates and teammates, University of Oregon volleyball player Rachel Morris has a few choice stories to choose from.

The sophomore setter from Manhattan Beach, Calif., modeled for Guess Kids when she was little. She also turned out shoots for wetsuit maker Body Glove.

Interesting stuff, but her father's job in the 1990s puts the Ducks just a few degrees of separation from the crazy antics of Jerry Seinfeld's neighbor Cosmo Kramer.

Phil Morris played Jackie Chiles, the parody of real-life O.J. Simpson defense lawyer Johnny Cochrane, who represented Kramer on TV's "Seinfeld."

From her dad being on a show about nothing, Rachel Morris now has a whole lot of something to talk about.

"A school in Utah actually has a Jackie Chiles Law Society and they have a t-shirt," she said. "I have a few of those. My dad's face is on the back of one."

Morris admits "Seinfeld" may not be her favorite show, but she does have her favorite Jackie Chiles quote.

"I didn't tell you to put the balm on, who told you to put the balm on?"

And that is a story about something.
