EUGENE, Ore. -- A masked man who threatened he had a bomb robbed a Eugene, Ore., bank by walking up to the drive-through window last August.

Then he did it again in September.

And again last week.

The robber isn't the kind of repeat customer a bank wants, so the victim and a security task force now offer up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the loyal robber.

The Oregon Banker’s Association Financial Institutions Security Task Force and Umpqua Bank are each offering up to $5,000 for the man believed responsible for all three robberies at the Umpqua Bank, located at 4011 Donald Street.

In all three instances, the man walked up to the exterior drive-through teller window and demanded cash. In each instance, he repeatedly threatened that he had a bomb. In each case, he left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Witnesses describe the man as:

Race:  White

Age:     20’s

Height:  5’10 – 6’2”

Weight:  About 180 pounds

Build:  Medium

Hair:  Black or Brown

Eyes:  Dark brown

He wore similar, but different clothing in each of the robberies:

Aug. 8: Plain black hooded sweatshirt; blue pajama pants with a possible fish print; face mask with eye holes; gray, low-cut hiking shoes; heavy, cold-weather gloves; dark backpack

Sept. 10: Light gray, dark speckled long-sleeved shirt with emblem of a duck/helmet on the front; dark blue plaid pants; dark brown casual shoes; (possible) black gloves

Nov. 4: Blue/gray ski-type jacket; jeans; dark blue or black mask

Anyone with information on any of these bank robberies is asked to call the FBI in Eugene at (541) 343-5222 during normal business hours or the FBI in Portland at (503) 224-4181.
