Eugene hosts fencing tournament Saturday

Enjoy watching the nation’s top-rated fencers at the Eugene Fencer’s Club’s Fall Team Tournament this Saturday Nov. 22, 2008 at Roosevelt Middle school, 680 East 24th (24th and Hilyard.)
Top fencers from across Oregon, including the Northwest Fencing Center and Salle Trois Armes in Portland, University of Oregon, and the Eugene Fencers Club will compete in foil, epee and saber, in an exciting team format, as each 3-person team races to be first to reach 45 touches!
Team Foil fencing begins at 9:30 am, Team Epee fencing begins at noon, and Team Saber fencing begins at 2:00 pm. This event open and free to the public. Event held in the B-Gym, on the schools’ south side (take the driveway around to the back.)
