Armed robber wore muttonchop sideburns

EUGENE, Ore. -- An armed man with muttonchop sideburns robbed a sporting goods store at gunpoint early Monday morning as employees arrived for work.

As employees of Joe's on Green Acres Road arrived at work around 7 a.m. Monday morning, a man with a gun entered the store and demanded money. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbery suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, about 5’9”–5’10” tall with a medium build. Witnesses described him as having muttonchop sideburns and possibly other facial hair.  At the time of the robbery he was wearing a grey t-shirt, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a belt with a large skull-design belt buckle, black shoes.
