EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Police arrested a University of Oregon student accused of robbing a Eugene restaurant.

Eugene police say 22-year-old Samuel Sourikoff was arrested a short distance from Mazzi's restaurant, where a robber fled Friday night with cash and a bottle of wine after displaying a pistol.

The robber dropped the wine while being chased by workers and patrons and discarded the gun, which proved to be a toy.

According to the Lane County jail Web site, Sourikoff is jailed on charges of robbery and kidnapping.
