Bomb threat delays start of another school day
SUTHERLIN, Ore. -- A bomb threat prompted school officials to delay the start of classes at Sutherlin High School by two hours on Thursday.
On Tuesday, threats closed two private high schools in Eugene, Ore. Classes resumed today at O'Hara and Marist Catholic Schools after police spent 6 hours on Tuesday sweeping the properties with bomb-sniffing dogs.
Wednesday evening, the Sutherlin School District issued the following press release:
Due to a bomb threat Sutherlin High School will be on a two hour dealy on Thursday, Jan 8. All other Sutherlin schools are on a regular schedule. Buses will run on a regular schedule and a two-hour delay schedule for high school students.
