Getting Inked at the Oregon Tattoo Convention
EUGENE, Ore - If you like tattoos, you're in good company!
Eugene's first-ever tattoo convention is underway, and people are getting inked!
The convention is the largest of its kind in the state. It showcases 150 Oregon artists. Promoter Brandon Ingram who is also the publisher of Northwest Tattoo Magazine says he hopes the event brings in some money for the local economy.
"I wanted to put some money here and I wanted to hype my own town," he says. "Everyone is excited. It's great."
Ingram says they expect 15,000 people to come out today. The event runs through Sunday.
