EUGENE, Ore. -- Expect delays on Western Oregon roads Friday afternoon as crews clear a number of crashes blocking traffic.

Oregon Department of Transportation dispatch said clearing a semi truck load of produce near Goshen could take until almost 10 p.m. Friday to clear. The truck did not spill its load, but crews are unloading the produce before moving the truck.

Traffic is getting through, but slowly as rubberneckers slow down to take a look. The biggest delays are on I-5 northbound, where only one lane is open on an old part of the highway. Highway 58 onramps are also slow.

Also delaying traffic:

  • Oregon Hwy 99 at milepost 8 south of Creswell were partially blocked by another crash.

  • A gravel spill on Hwy 126 should be cleared up by 5 p.m. but has slowed traffic.
