University of Oregon visitors, students and employees will need to pay close attention to parking and street closures when on campus this week. With students moving out of residence halls, commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday and a variety of campus events, streets will be busy and the university has taken steps to help things move a little more smoothly.

Starting today and continuing through Friday, bike lanes on Agate Street, from 13th to 15th avenues will be closed to bike traffic. The lanes will be used for vehicle parking, to allow students to move out of residence halls.

From Wednesday to Friday, metered parking on the east side of campus will be reserved for move-out parking. This includes: 13th Avenue, from Agate Street to Franklin Boulevard; 15th Avenue, from Agate to Moss Streets; and on Agate Street, from 15th to 17th avenues.

For pedestrian safety, University Street will be closed on Friday and Saturday for commencement ceremonies.  The parking lot behind Mac Court, lot 30, will be closed as well.
