EUGENE, Ore. -- Signs in hand, friends, family and supporters marched Friday in Eugene to show their solidarity with protestors in Iran.

The group marched from the University of Oregon campus to City Hall protesting the election of iran's president.

All foreign media have been banned from the country. Some say this has silenced the ongoing protests in Iran.

Marchers in Eugene say they are now representing them.

"I feel sad for whats going on in Iran," said protestor Mohammed Maleki, "for my family and all the other Iranians. People have been struggling to get their freedom and stand for justice."

Protestores wore black and green to remember those who had died in Iran's clashes between police and protests.
