SPRINGFIELD, Ore -Jon and Connie Jaqua released a statement to the media about the sexual assault claims against their son. From the front lawn of the ranch where Nate was raised they stood in support of him during what they called ‘very difficult times.’

“The allegations contained in the civil lawsuit are not only bazaar to be unfathomable to us but are also completely incompatible with everything we and the people who are closest to Nate know about him,” said Jon.

Jon Jaqua spoke on behalf of the family and said they were stunned when they found out about the suit. Jon said in his son’s 28 years of life he has never been in legal trouble.

“We can only conclude that the plaintiff in the case is a very troubled young woman who has been very poorly advised,” said Jon.

Jon Jaqua asked that the media to not ask questions about the case.
