Stabbing in downtown Eugene sends one to hospital

EUGENE, Ore. -- A stabbing victim was taken to the hospital early Thursday morning, but police had few details after the victim declined to talk to police at this time.

Eugene police officers responded to a stabbing in the parking lot on the southeast corner of W. 8th and Olive at 3:50 a.m.

A white hatchback with four people inside was seen leaving the area around the time of the assault.

Medics responded and took the 37-year-old male victim to Riverbend Hospital in Springfield.

The victim's last known address was Florence, Ore.
