SPRAGUE RIVER, Ore. (AP) — A man remains missing after setting out on a 10-mile horseback ride to a neighbors house last week, and investigators suspect foul play.

Searchers in Klamath County are looking for the missing Sprague River man.

Sheriff Tim Evinger says 54-year-old Robert Kincaid left on horseback last week for a roughly 10-mile trip to a neighbor's house.

Kincaid never arrived, and authorities were alerted Tuesday that the horse Kincaid was riding and a second horse he was leading returned home riderless.

Sheriff Tim Evinger says there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, and foul play is suspected.
