KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) — The body of a missing man has been recovered on a piece of property between Sprague River and Beatty, and the owner of that property is accused of killing him.

District Attorney Ed Caleb says 47-year-old Deanna Lynn Brindle is being held without bail at the Klamath County Jail.

She is accused of killing 54-year-old Robert Kincaid of Sprague River.

Kincaid left on horseback last week for a roughly 10-mile trip to a neighbor's house.

Kincaid never arrived, and authorities were alerted Tuesday that the horse Kincaid was riding and a second horse he was leading returned home without him.
