CHESHIRE, Ore. -- One of two people seriously injured in an early morning house fire a week ago has died.

Donna McCleary died around 12:30 p.m. after undergoing surgery, according to her granddaughter, Bridget Howell.

Donna's husband Harley was scheduled to go in for surgery Tuesday. That surgery was delayed due to his wife's death, Howell said.

Donna suffered burns to her face and head when a fire ripped through the couple's home in Cheshire, Ore. Harley was burned over 55 percent of his body in the fire, Howell said.

Both victims were flown to Portland's Emanuel Hospital after the fire broke out at the Grandview Mobile Home Park around 1 a.m. on July 21.

It took crews about three hours to get a handle on the blaze.
