DRAIN, Ore. - A missing 42-year-old California man was found Sunday, safe but wet, cold and confused.

Jeffrey Andrew Ensley was reported to police after he approached a rural home at the outskirts of Drain. Police said the resident noted similarities between the man and media reports initiated after Oregon State Police began looking for Ensley Friday.

An Oregon State Police trooper transported the Ensley to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg for a medical evaluation.

Family and Sonoma County, Calif., law enforcement agencies are being notified.

Ensley, age 42, is from Santa Rosa, Calif. He was reported to be on foot on Interstate 5 about 20 miles east of Drain - near Cottage Grove - on Nov. 13. A trooper located a 1991 Honda four-door believed to be associated with Ensley near Interstate 5's milepost 160.

On Nov. 15, at 12:30 p.m., Oregon's state police Southern Command Center dispatch was notified by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office of a report that a man matching Ensley's description had approached a woman at a residence in the 3900 block of Umpqua Highway near Drain, Ore. The woman called Douglas County 9-1-1.

A deputy and trooper responded and confirmed it was Ensley.
