EUGENE, Ore. -- She's a survivor with a sense of humor--and what she claims are "the cleanest toilet bowls on the planet."

"Because if you're going to put your face in it five times a day, you're going to scrub it," said Brooke Jones.

The Lane County woman's take on the side effects of chemotherapy--from nausea to forgetfulness she refers to as "chemo brain"--have helped her fight the disease since her 2004 diagnosis.

Jones found the first lump in her breast.  She says it was small and hard, like a BB.  A mammogram and ultrasound found two others.

"So I was off and running on a journey of what do I do now, who do I see, how do I choose a doctor," said Jones.  She hopped on the internet and found hundreds of websites, many with conflicting information.

Years after first wading through the, Jones has become a Breast Cancer Warrior and created breastcancerwarrior.net--a webiste to inform and entertain women with breast cancer.

Brooke shares her experiences and recommends resources on various topics, ranging from treatment options to "chemo brain."

"Hopefully breastcancerwarrior.net is not going to tell people what decisions to make," said Jones.  "It is going to empower them to make conscious decisions."

A former stand-up comedian, Jones includes jokes and comics to illustrate the website.

"We are going to laugh at every opportunity we find.  Every one and when we can't find one, we're going to make one up," she said.  "Because laughter is healing and it's fun. And it does help fight cancer."

Jones has big plans for the future of her website.  She would like to see it expand to include "brave cancer" warriors with different types of cancer.  She also plans to start a non-profit that would provide seed money to breast cancer survivors who want to start businesses.

Now, she's focusing on the website and Breast Cancer Warrior gift shop.  It features, among other items, zip up hoodies that are "perfect for chemo day," said Jones.
