‘Tis the season to cut your own tree
PLEASANT HILL, Ore - Many people flock to rural Oregon to cut their own Christmas Trees. Bob Hladky’s tree farm started as a hobby and has been in business for more then 40 years.
Hladky’s tree farm is one of the oldest in Pleasant Hill. Eighty-three year-old Hladky planted all the trees himself. Right now, customers can choose between 12,000 trees.
Hladky is a retired University of Oregon Professor. He said what he loves most about the tree farm busniess is seeing people cheerful and in good spirits when they visit.
