Prosecutor: Man arrested for cutting dog's throat
CASCADE, Idaho -- A Central Idaho man is facing animal cruelty charges after police say he slit the throat of his neighbor's dog.
Cascade, Idaho, police said Robert Roby was in an ongoing dispute with the dog's owner when he took the animal. The dog survived the incident.
Matt Williams, Valley County, Idaho, prosecutor, said Roby was arrested by Cascade Police late Wednesday afternoon.
He is facing three charges including felony grand theft, felony malicious injury to property and misdemeanor animal cruelty. His bond is set at $10,000.
The case has now been handed over to Valley County prosecutors.
