EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon track coach Vin Lananna is not traveling to the NCAA indoor track and field championships in Arkansas this week because of blood pressure issues.

Lananna says in a statement released by the Ducks that he expects to have his health concerns resolved in time for the start of the outdoor season next week.

Lananna, an associate athletic director at Oregon, did not elaborate on his condition.

The NCAA indoor championships will be held Friday and Saturday in Fayetteville.
