EUGENE, Ore. - Neighbors at Jacob Lane Apartments received a notice on Monday informing them the trees in the complex would be sprayed.
The spray didn't pose a hazard to their cars, but they were asked to park away from the trees.
But residents of the North Eugene apartment complex said they awoke Tuesday to sidewalks littered with dead and dying bees.
There were still dead and dying bees on the walkways Wednesday morning.
Now they want answers about what happened to the bees. The notice residents received didn't say why the trees were being treated or even with what.
To be fair, KVAL News tried to speak with the maangement of Jacob Lane Apartments. The office was closed.
The Oregon Department of Agriculture said the incident warrants further investigation.
