New artwork for new Eugene Police headquarters (5)
The artwork to be installed on Thursday is by Ellen Tykeson, who is an Oregon native. Ms. Tykeson is an outstanding figurative artist with artwork placed in collections along the West Coast. Aside from giving back through 14 years of teaching at Lane Community College, she is a pillar in the Eugene community. Her artwork was conceived with great care and appreciation for the service and dedication of the Eugene Police Department’s officers, staff, and volunteers. Artwork by John Rose will be installed at a later date. Look forward to a similar message about his work at that time.
