The arch in front of the Moshofsky Center pays homage to athletics at the University of Oregon. The school has 500 student athletes that compete in sports including football, basketball, baseball, tennis and golf. The student athletes at UO have an average GPA higher than the general student body and have to comply with rigorous metrics set by the NCAA.
