This July 10, 2012, photo shows pilot Daryl Fisher of Carson City, Nev., taking off from Union County Airport in La Grande, Ore., with passenger Dan Kramer. Three residents of a La Grande retirement center received a ride of a lifetime. Each got a flight over the Grande Ronde Valley in a World War II-era biplane. The flight was provided by pilot Darryl Fisher of Ageless Aviation Dreams, a nonprofit that provides biplane flights for seniors throughout the Northwest. (AP Photo/The Observer, Brad Mosher)
