Body washed up on Ore. beach was missing shrimper

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. (AP) — A body that washed up earlier this month on Gleneden Beach near Lincoln City has been identified as that of a missing shrimper from Salem, Oregon State Police said Friday.

Sgt. Cari Boyd reported released that it had been 56-year-old Brian Andrew Martin, who was reported missing on Dec. 30.

The body was found on Gleneden Beach by a citizen on the morning of January 7.
