OAKRIDGE, Ore -- A  man was sent to the hospital after he crashed his pickup into two vehicles on Highway 58 Monday morning, Oregon State Police said.

OSP troopers reported that Gary Cullin, 79 of La Pine, was towing his camping trailer westbound on Highway 58 when at around 11 a.m. he lost control of his truck and crashed into an unoccupied pickup parked near the Salt Creek Tunnel construction zone.

After hitting the parked car Cullin's truck continued, hitting the rear of an SUV towed behind a motorhome. No one inside the motorhome was reported injured in the incident.

Cullin was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield where he was teated for non-life threatening injuries.

The unoccupied truck belonged to a flagger working on the construction site.

Crash investigators are still trying to determine what caused Cullin to crash into the parked pickup.
