HOOD RIVER, Ore. - A rock the size of a car fell on Interstate 84 on Sunday afternoon, blocking one lane of traffic.

No cars got hit.

A state trooper found the boulder around 12:34 p.m.

The large boulder - described by police as the size of a car - appeared to have rolled off the hill next to the interstate and over a concrete barrier, landing in the right eastbound lane.

Oregon DOT staff removed the boulder.
