Coach pleads guilty to sex crimes

EUGENE, Ore. - An Oakridge High School coach pleaded guilty Friday to sex crimes involving a student under the age of 18.
Larry Dean Boyd pleaded guilty to two counts of sex abuse.
The victim in the case is a female student udner the age of 18.
Boyd has coached baseball and boys basketball at Oakridge High School.
He was arrested and charged in June.

He violated the public trust, does that mean his contract with PERS and the teachers union is null and void. If not it sure should be.

I guess all of those Oakridge people who were in denial back in June when he was arrested will have little to say at this point.   Sympathy for his family is all that is left.
