Deputies: Model charged with sex abuse involving teen boys
NEHALEM, Ore. - Detectives with the Tillamook County Sheriff's Office said they have arrested a 31-year-old woman for sex crimes involving under-age boys.
Anna R. Welsh, 31, had sexual contact with at least one boy and sent and requested "pornographic images" from victims according to deputies, who also said at least three boys 15 to 16 years old were involved.
Welsh worked as a promotional model and has an entry on a modeling website, where she said she is 28 years old and from Manzanita.
Deputies said she is charged with two counts of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, one count of sodomy and three counts of sex abuse.
Welsh's father-in-law told KATU News on Friday that this has been an incredibly sad time for the family, including Welsh's three young children.
Neighbors said Welsh is an active member of the community.
Welsh is on the board of directors of New Discoveries Preschool, according to the Headlight Herald news website. An employee there said she resigned on Monday, just a few days before her arrest.
Neighbors said she also operates the IGA grocery store in Manzanita with her family.
"I felt personally hurt, like it was my own kid," said neighbor Randy Gardner, who saw her being arrested.
KATU called Welsh's attorney and we have not yet heard back. As of Friday, she was being held in the Tillamook County Jail on $100,000 bail.
Yeah I'm sure those hormone filled teenagers were scared for life! The powers that be are just plain morons!
Speaking of predators, now the attorneys will swoop in like vultures.  Everyone involved gets to pay a lawyer.

Maybe its none of our dam business.

@Michael Michaels @XLRG---As a 16-year-old male I would not have kicked her out of bed for crackers. I am sure I would have enjoyed her conversation too. And, best of all, she could have bought me beer and been my safety driver...after she helped me with my Geometry homework.

The truth is, this is NOT behavior that is new or happening more in the so-called morally-deficient, more-recent generations in our society. At least now we have laws that make this illegal and we send perpetrators to jail. In generations past though, it would NOT even have raised any eybrows if a 30-something year-old man took a 15 or 16 year old girl for his bride. People did it all the time. Granted, in this case the older person is the woman and the teens are the boys, and it was just sex, not marriage. However; STILL in the not-so-distant history of our society many people (even fathers) would have just considered it a boy's "coming of age" experience if he had an "encounter" with an older woman, even a prostitute, and just looked "the-other-way" over the matter.  At least now we DON'T consider it "okay" regardless of which genders the minor & adult are, or the circumstances. At least now we don't have those antiquated, macho or sexist dellusions that justify it. To my way of thinking, that makes our society a little "better' on this issue than it used to be, not the reverse..
No Truth + No Honor + Anything goes = A Society that will eventually be doomed.
