Donated supplies get kids ready for new school year
EUGENE, Ore. - Hundreds of parents and their children lined up at St. Vincent de Paul on Thursday morning for a school supply giveway.
Kids said they're excited about the new school year - and the new supplies.
"This is really exciting," said Sierra Olson, a 6th-grader. "I can't wait to get all the school supplies so i can be ready for middle school."
It's not too late to help out. Donations can still be dropped off at Bi-marts and Jerry's Home Improvement Centers.
