EUGENE, Ore. -- Eugene Police cited University of Oregon wide receiver Josh Huff early Saturday morning for DUII, speeding and driving without a license.

A Eugene Police spokesperson said Huff, 20, was stopped at E. 18th Avenue and Agate Street. Police said no one else was in the car when Huff was cited, but the car was not registered to Huff.

Police said Huff was cooperative at the scene, and that he was not lodged at the Lane County Jail.

Huff's car was impounded and he was released to a friend.

University of Oregon spokesperson Dave Williford said Saturday both coach Chip Kelly and the university are aware of the situation.

It comes just a week after Kelly brought in former NBA player, Chris Herren, to share his story with the team on the pitfall of drugs and alcohol.
