Duo accused of posing as police to rob man

COOS BAY, Ore. - Ray Lahaise was working outside his home last Sunday when a man wearing a hard hat approached him and told the 83-year-old he was from the power company.
The man then pulled a gun and changed his story: he was actually a police officer. He ordered Lahaise into his house and made him gather some valuables. The man then tied Lahaise to a chair.
While the suspect and Lahaise were inside, Rodney Roane, who lives on the property, came home on his lunch break and confronted a second man sitting in a vehicle parked in the driveway.
The other man came out of the house and told Roane he was a police officer, ordering him to go and stay inside his home.
Roane complied, but came out of the house a short while later to check on Lahaise. He found Lahaise working to free his hands and call police.
Coos County Sheriff's deputies interviewed the men and went to work tracking down the suspects.
On Monday morning, deputies contacted 30-year-old Aaron Beam of Coos Bay, who turned himself in. He was taken to the Coos County Jail and booked on the charges of Robbery I, Kidnap I, Burglary I, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Impersonating a Police Officer and Criminal Conspiracy.
On Monday evening, sheriff’s deputies located the second suspect and arrested 35-year-old Justin Arriola of Myrtle Point. He was taken to the Coos County and booked on the same charges as Beam.
I know that Justin Arriola has a long rap sheet and was released from the Coos County Jail  just a few days prior to this incident after serving a 3 month sentence for Parole Violations .....Â
Ladys and Gents you are looking at the real file Dumb & Dumber, Hope they get the chair but in reality they'll get out=(
This is the kind of crime that these criminal low lifes should have to serve AT LEAST 20+ years.Â
fing scum bags and they are probably out already standing in line to get there guns back
@Iam1woody Eh, I wouldn't be so sure about that. They're not in Lane county, after all.
@PleaseBeSmart I thought coos was lane
@Reality Good to know. I was unaware of that.
Coos Counties Jail is even less staffed than the Lane County Jail. Coos, Curry, and Josephine Counties are in at least as bad if not worse shape than Lane County.
@Iam1woody Nope, Coos county. =P I don't think they have a revolving door jail like we do.
