Eugene man gets 15 years for child porn
EUGENE, Ore. - A man convicted in a child porn case will serve 15 years in prison.
A judge sentenced Catalin Dulfu, 54, on Monday to 15 years in prison. The Eugene resident was convicted two weeks ago by a jury on 30 counts of first- and second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse.
Dulfu was also fined $5,000. The money will go to a fund established for a young female victim forced to appear in some of the pornographic images found in Dulfu's possession.
The investigation began in October 2011.
The jury issued its guilty verdict after more than three hours of deliberation.
The prosecution was led by the Oregon Department of Justice.

Just some heads up concerning a scam on the internet regarding adult porn content. For those who peruse or have others in the household/business/etc. who peruse the adult porn sites, there are some Trojan Horses going around that freeze  the computer and turn on the webcam as if to identify the computer user with a mug shot . The screen's content  is very convincing with what looks like an official FBI or FTC  indictment demanding that the user pay a penalty of  $100 to $500 immediately to avoid future computer damage/file confiscation and confiscation of the computer AND immediate incarceration etc. The only function allowed is to type a credit/debit card # to avoid further/impending/severe penalties, etc.
This scam can be activated just by clicking on any given adult porn link on any given adult porn site.
There a buildings/neighborhoods in Beijing that do nothing but scam peoples credit card #s via such porn sites. American Express is their favorite.
Just turn the computer off for a few hours and it should go away. If you really did access an illegal site, the relevant penalizing authorities would send something in the mail and a POC. They would not try to make you pay anything before a hearing on the matter.Â
No reason for Rosy Palm and her five lovely sisters to get scammed into paying child support and alimony to 1.3 Billion Chinese. Â
